I’m really sad to leave this place, but my boat is here and I have to return to Paxos and then take a speedboat back to Corfu. Paxos has been a revelation: I’d never even heard of it before this trip, but ended up loving it.
I’m so happy I’m seeing this beach at the end of my trip, because no other beach would be able surpass it. It’s beach perfection! I doubt any picture can show the real color of these crystal clear, turquoise waters.
The next beach I’m going to visit is not on Paxos itself, but on the small island nearby: Antipaxos. It’s accessible only by a boat that departs from Gaios port only twice a day, so you have to plan it in advance.
There’s just an hour left until the sunset, but I’m deciding to visit one more spot nearby: Eremitis beach. This beach is actually pretty new, since it was formed after the landslide in 2008 and it’s stunning.
